The Sulu property is located two kilometres northwest of the Scottie Gold Mine Project. The first known exploration program on the property was completed in late September of 2016 by Apex Resources. Although field work was hindered by snowfall, an initial assessment of the property concluded that additional exploration work is warranted due to the favourable location and geology. 

Follow-up work in 2017 consisted of a heli-borne magnetic and VTEM electromagnetic geophysical survey producing anomalous zones that are associated with magnetic anomalies. Two anomalies have been identified for follow up work but have not been investigated
